Secure FTP to Aggie Horticulture in Place 


The Filezilla FTP server has been configured and the login IDs and passwords entered. Please download the Filezilla client and test your connection as soon as possible. 

We're on target to move to secure FTP using Filezilla. The logins and passwords have been entered, and the folders assigned. Everything is ready to go (I hope!).

You need to download and install the Filezilla client and set up a connection to Aggie Horticulture as quickly as possible. I have created a tutorial demonstrating the process and the required parameters and placed it on Aggie Horticulture at:

If you have any trouble connecting, contact me (dan-lineberger@tamu.edu ) immediately. We have to de-bug this system prior to September 1st. You might also want to read my blog entry on this subject of August 12 to refresh yourself on what systems will no longer work.

Connections inside the TAMU firewall should continue to work as before without using FTP-SSL.
