2007 GARDENING GUIDE AND CALENDAR
The 2007 Northeast Texas Gardening Guide and Calendar is available September 22 for area gardeners. Written by the Smith County Master Gardeners, a volunteer organization of Texas Cooperative Extension, the calendar provides a wealth of information for the NE Texas region. The Guide lists a month-by-month “to-do” list on plant care; bed preparation; pest, disease and weed control. This year the Guide will also feature information on Texas Superstar plants, Earthkind Roses, Hummingbird & Butterfly Gardens, Edible Gardens, Water Gardens, Companion Planting. And Organic gardening.
