ENJOY YOUR GARDEN

ENJOY YOUR GARDEN

What we take from our garden is so much more than just flowers and plants. It is there that we learn patience, a great respect for nature, and a love for every season.

We need to allow ourselves the feelings of peace, calmness, and accomplishment that we gain from gardening. Give yourself a certain amount of time to spend in the garden-even if it is only 30 minutes. Enjoy-and don't let anyone throw the "guilt blanket" over you. Remember, if you, the gardener, are at peace in your mind and body, everyone around you stands to benefit. Take care of your garden AND yourself.

Whether it's a patio garden or an acre, it's your decision. (And remember to give yourself permission to change your mind.) Gardening is not for everyone, but until you get your hands in the dirt or see that first seed sprout, you will not know the effect it may have on you. Give gardening a try.
