he Texas Plant Protection Conference is a 14-year-old non-profit professional association for those individuals involved in the technical and scientific aspects of production agriculture. Conference attendees represent academia, extension, research, and consulting. This conference is one of the best opportunities in Texas for anyone involved in production agriculture to learn about new industry trends, new technology, and new scientific advances.

 

Continuing Education Units

  • 7 CEUs for Texas Department of Agriculture-licensed Pesticide Applicators (4.75 Gen, 1.25 IPM, 1.0 Laws & Regs) - enough to fulfill one year’s requirement for commercial applicators

  • 11 CEUs for Texas Certified Crop Advisers (0.5 NM, 2.75 WM, 4.25 PM, 3.5 CM)

If you have a product or service that you would like to show off, the conference will afford you maximum exposure to crop input professionals.

Location and Accommodations

All conference activities will be held in one location -- the comfortable Pebble Creek Country Club, 4500 Pebble Creek Parkway, College Station, Texas (979) 690-0996.

The most convenient hotel to the conference is the Courtyard by Marriott at 3939 State Highway 6 in College Station. Contact the hotel directly for reservations at (979) 695-8111.

To reach the Pebble Creek Country Club, take the Greens Paririe Road exit off of SH 6 (this exit is south of College Station). Go east about 3 miles, and turn right on Pebble Creek Parkway, and proceed into the Pebble Creek subdivision. Go about 2 miles to the Country Club entrance. Parking is free. Travel time is about 15 minutes from the Texas A&M University campus.
