Constitution
- Article VI: Committees
- Section 1.
- The Executive Committee shall consist of the Officers and Advisors. The President shall notify and will call the committee as needed. This committee shall oversee the general functioning of the organization as a whole. This committee shall set policy governing the organization with the advice and consent of the general membership. The Executive Committee shall have jurisdiction concerning the determination of active members. The officers and advisors may invite committee chairs or other individuals to sit in on executive meetings, but the executive committee will set final policy. Specific policy guidelines may be specified in the By-Laws. A quorum of the officers will be required to contact business.
- Section 2.
- Special committees shall deal with specific topics as deemed necessary by the President. These committees will report to the Executive Committee and the general membership as needed.
- Article VII: Meetings and Protocol
- Section 1.
- Meetings shall be called once a month during the regular academic year.
- Section 2.
- A quorum of a simple officers majority shall be required to vote on policy or financial matters as outlined in the By-Laws.
- Section 3.
- The President shall call Special Meetings if needed.
- Section 4.
- The Executive Committee shall determine the orders of business used in monthly meetings.
- Section 5.
- Any general council member may introduce matters to be considered by the council as a whole.
