Constitution


Article IX: By-Laws

Shall set policy and procedures not outlined in the Constitution. By-Laws shall be voted on by the general membership and will require a 3/4 majority vote to pass or to amend a specific By-Law. The By-Laws shall practice policy determining methods and amounts of disburment. By-Laws may be proposed to the Executive Committee by any general member. The Executive Committee will review the proposed By-Law to the general membership for approval.

Article X: Amendment

Section 1.
This Constitution may be amended by 2/3 vote of the general membership. One week's notice of any proposed change must be given before action can be taken.

Section 2.
This Constitution must be reviewed and resubmitted every two years as stated in Student Activities Guidelines.

Article XI: Statement of Authority.

This Constitution shall supersede all previous constitutions and will serve as the governing document. The Constitution will take effect immediately following ratification by a 2/3 majority vote of the general membership.
