We are proud of our former students and how they are making impact throughout the country and the world with their outstanding work and leadership. HGC Presents the Former Graduate Student of the Fall 1997
Dr. Villalon is Class of '65 and retired last year from the Department after being working as Plant Breeder and Plant Pathologist for more than 30 years in Texas. Dr. Villalon has released several cultivars and varieties that are cultivated all around the world. Some examples are 'TAM Mild Jalapeno', 'TAM Veracruz', 'TAM Bell'.
