During the past six years Lou Garza has worked for the Texas Agricultural Extension Service in several capacities, all requiring dedication and a willingness to be innovative. She has won numerous awards for her efforts including the Texas Agricultural Extension Service Superior Service Award, Outstanding Achievement Award from her work with the Una Vida Mejor Project and the Best of Texas Award from the Corporate Fund for Children which was awarded to the Una Vida Mejor Team. Lou developed and maintained the Una Vida Mejor home page which was part of the team effort that made this project successful in many ways. She also developed and maintains the Texas 4-H State Calendar web site.
My responsibilities related to the internet include updating the South Texas Vegetable Webpage, Una Vida Mejor home page and the Texas 4-H State Calendar web site on a regular basis. I am in charge of general maintenance, preparation of documents and the creation of new network links related to these websites.
