EDUCATIONAL GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

It is anticipated that educational programs to be developed, including printed guides, handbooks, and other materials will (as quoted from enabling legislation) "address site-specific, environmental, and resource management problems and sustain farm profitability, including:
  1. enhancing and maintaining the fertility, productivity, and conservation of farmland and ranch soils, ranges, pastures, and wildlife;
  2. maximizing the efficient and effective use of agricultural inputs;
  3. protecting or enhancing the quality of water resources; and
  4. optimizing the use of on-farm and nonrenewable resources"

Through this program, using available staff and resources of Extension in Texas and other partners, of a wide range of learning opportunities will be made available. These will be directed to:
