Mark Your Calendars! AGAIN!
I have been called for jury duty on Thursday, September 23, so I must declare another work day for you. I have arranged for the computers to be set up, and for an experienced student to help you with any problems you are having with your eportfolio project.
New ePortfolio Page
I have posted a new page with guidelines for the eportfolio project. This page also has links to hints and examples.
Mark Your Calendars!
Since I have to be out-of-state on Thursday, September 30, you may take that class period as a "work day" to complete your eportfolio project. The due date of the eportfolio project has been delayed until Tuesday, October 5.
September 10 - Grades Posted
Grades for the first assignment have been posted.
Oops I forgot One!
Apparently I forgot to put the code for making an email link in the page of codes. It's as follows:

First Assignment Guidelines
I have set few "absolutes" in your first assignment because part of the fun of this course is the ability to express your creativity. I would like the following common elements at a minimum: campus address, phone, email (link), Web site (link if you have one), home town, academic background (major, degree sought, specialization, anticipated graduation date), career goals, organizations and activities, goals in taking this HORT 489. See Brian Grubbs page as an example.
First Class Meets Tuesday, August 31
Just a quick note to remind you all that we will be meeting for the first class tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11:10 am in Room 115. We will be "conducting business" during this class meeting, so I expect everyone to be there. Our topic for tomorrow will be an introduction to MacOSX, the operating system installed on your iBook laptops.
If you have not done so, please review the course Web site but, note that it is a work in progress.
Also, please send me an email with your preferred email address if you wish to use something other than NEO. It is important that I have the email that you check frequently to be able to communicate quickly about class happenings.
