Connecting to the Server Start WS_FTP and click the new button to set up a new profile. The profile name is simply a title for the new connection you are creating.

The host name/address is the server you are connecting to. In this case...
webtutor.tamu.edu
Next enter your logon ID and password.
Logon ID= Your Last name
Password= Your last name initial and then the Last 4 digits of your Student IDNote: you can select the save password option box if you do not want to enter your password each time you connect (and if you are not concerned with security on your end.)
WS_FTP will now connect to the WebMasters computer in the Horticulture/Forest Science Building on the Texas A&M University campus.
You have connected successfully when the server message says that a connection has been established, user logged in, etc. (bottom of the WS_FTP window) and your student directory path name is displayed above the remote system window.
